O Consello da Cultura Galega e o Instituto Cervantes de Dublín organizan os "Encontros Atlánticos Galicia-Irlanda", un conxunto de actividades sobre literatura, lingua, música e audiovisual que se desenvolverán os días 25, 26 e 27 de marzo de 2025 no Instituto Cervantes de Dublín - Auditorio. Na organización do evento colabora o Instituto Cervantes Dublín.

O Consello da Cultura Galega and the Instituto Cervantes in Dublin are organizing the "Atlantic Encounters Galicia-Ireland," a series of activities on literature, language, music, and audiovisual arts, which will take place on March 25, 26, and 27, 2025, at the Instituto Cervantes in Dublin - Auditorium.

Tá an Chomhairle Cultúir na Gailíse agus Institiúid Cervantes Bhaile Átha Cliath ag eagrú na "gCruinnithe Atlantacha Galicia-Éire", sraith imeachtaí faoi litríocht, teanga, ceol agus closamhairc, a bheidh ar siúl ar an 25ú, 26ú agus 27ú Márta 2025 san Institiúid Cervantes Bhaile Átha Cliath - Áisíneacht.

O día 25 de marzo achegámonos á riqueza da lingua e da literatura galegas na súa conexión coa poesía irlandesa cun encontro dividido en dúas partes: primeiro, un coloquio onde Xavier Queipo e Dolores Vilavedra ofrecerán un panorama da literatura galega actual, coa moderación de Catherine Barbour. O poeta galego Martín Veiga servirá de mestre de ceremonia da segunda parte, cando escoitaremos poemas da voz dos seus creadores e creadoras, con Alba Cid e Daniel Salgado, por parte de Galicia, e Keith Payne e Grace Wells, poetas conectados con Galicia e Irlanda.

On March 25, we will explore the richness of the Galician language and literature in its connection with Irish poetry through an event divided into two parts. First, a colloquium where Xavier Queipo and Dolores Vilavedra will provide an overview of contemporary Galician literature, moderated by Catherine Barbour. The Galician poet Martín Veiga will serve as the master of ceremonies for the second part, during which we will listen to poems in the voices of their creators. Representing Galicia will be Alba Cid and Daniel Salgado, while Keith Payne and Grace Wells, poets with ties to both Galicia and Ireland, will also take part.

Ar an 25ú Márta, scrúdóimid saibhreas na teanga agus na litríochta Gailísí agus a nasc leis an bhfilíocht Éireannach trí imeacht roinnte ina dhá chuid. Ar dtús, comhdháil ina gcuirfidh Xavier Queipo agus Dolores Vilavedra forléargas ar litríocht chomhaimseartha na Gailísise, faoi stiúir Catherine Barbour mar mhodhnóir. Beidh an file Gailísíoch Martín Veiga mar mhaistir na searmainne don dara cuid, áit a gcloisfimid dánta ó bhéal a gcruthaitheoirí féin. Producer and educator Beli Martínez coordinates this session on March 26, offering an overview of some of the most innovative proposals in Galician audiovisual production over the past two decades.

A música de Uxía protagonizará o concerto que se realizará o 27 de marzo, acompañada polo guitarrista Pablo Novoa. Uxía é unha artista recoñecida polo seu traballo de divulgación da poesía galega, renovación da música tradicional e fusión con outras culturas lusófonas. Cunha longa traxectoria e doce discos publicados desde 1986, formou parte de grupos como Na Lúa, e compartiu escenario con Amália Rodrigues ou María del Mar Bonet.

Uxía's music will take center stage at the concert on March 27, where she will be accompanied by guitarist Pablo Novoa. Uxía is an artist renowned for her work in promoting Galician poetry, revitalizing traditional music, and fusing it with other Lusophone cultures. With a long career and twelve albums released since 1986, she has been part of groups such as Na Lúa and has shared the stage with Amália Rodrigues and María del Mar Bonet.
